Skin Care
The media is full of beautiful faces that add to the stress of growing up for the teenagers. Teenagers have different skin care and make-up needs than mature women. However, skin care should actually start when they are preteens, as early as the age of 10 or 11. Hormones start to kick in and blemishes may begin to appear. As you mature, your skin care needs change, as your skin does.
Pay special attention to what products you are using and if there are any undesirable affects taking place. What makes your skin look radiant one-month may cause blemishes and breakouts the next. There are many ways to enhance your natural beauty and keep a practical skin care and a good make-up. Following are a few guidelines that you have to follow to have a flawless, silky, smooth and vivacious skin:
Cleansing
Cleanse your face everyday with a cleansing cream. This will keep your pores open so that your skin can breathe and it will also keep the dirt away. Also cleanse or wash your body once a day and your genital areas more often if possible. Do not use a strong soap on your face for cleansing since the skin of your face id very delicate. If you are using soap then choose a mild soap to cleanse your face.
Moisturizing
It is the most important thing that you can do to your skin. Upto the age of 20 a light moisturizing cream is sufficient. Apply it after a bath or after you cleanse your face. Apply it morning and evening as many times as you cleanse your face.
Removing makeup
You have to take extra care while removing makeup because your skin is tender and makeup can be hard on your skin. So as far as possible use makeup only at parties. Always remove eye make eye makeup remover pad or cleansing lotion. Put a generous amount of cleansing lotion on your face and massage with your fingertips. Then wipe it off with a tissue. To refresh your skin, smooth a little toner over your face. And ultimately dab moisturising lotion generously over your face using your fingertips. Massage it gently and smoothly into each curve and crevices around your eyes.
Care for Dry Skin
Dry skin looks dry, sometimes flakes and often feels tight, particularly if you have washed it with soap. For such a skin type always use mild, alcohol free makeup and toner and a rich creamy cleanser. Try to moisturize your face as many times as you can and apply the moisturizer generously.
Care for Oily Skin
Oily skin looks dull and full of grease. Oily skin is more prone to acne and spots because it contains a lot of sebum, which helps to prevent the skin from drying out. However oily skin does not age quickly though you have to take more care of it. Wash your face with soap and water. Use toners and astringents containing alcohol and always use a non-greasy cleanser. Wash your face twice with soap and water, gently massage for a minute and wash off.
Care for Combination Skin
Most of the women have this type of skin, with an oily centre panel across the forehead, nose and chin and areas of dry patch across our cheeks, eyes and necks. Thus, use a mild milky cleanser and moisturize the drier areas quite frequently.
Manicure
Soak your hands in a bowl of warm water you can put some moisturising bubble bath. Use some cuticle remover cream on each nail and carefully push back your cuticles with a manicure stick. Your cuticles should be quite soft from the soak. Rinse your hands and dry them carefully then apply some lovely moisturising cream. Use an emery board to shape your nails. Always file in one direction from the outside to the middle don`t saw back and forwards as this weakens the nails. Apply a tough base coat first and allow it to dry really well before your splash on your colour. Then let your artistic side come out and have a go at making some great patterns on your nails.
Pedicure
Soak your feet in a bowl of warm water you can put some foot soaks in the water or just some moisturising bubble bath. Dry them quickly and then use a pumice stone to buff away any rough skin. Give them a final rinse and dry them. Use some cuticle remover cream on each toe and carefully push back your cuticles with a manicure stick. Then check out the nails. Use clippers to trim them straight across and then use an emery board to smooth the edges. You can buy a toe-separator to separate your toes but rolling up some kitchen towel or tissue paper and weaving it between your toe works just as well. Then paint them. Apply a tough base coat first and allow it to dry really well before your splash on your colour.
Homemade Recipe to Whiten Teeth
You will need some Coarse Kosher salt and baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Then mix all three ingredients into a paste-like consistency. Brush with the paste 2 times a week or as needed. This works great for removing yellow stains on teeth.
